The General Medicine Department currently consists of 5 full time, and 4 part time and this appointment will increase the staff to 10. The Department provides inpatient and outpatient care for General Medicine patients. This successful appointee will be expected to look after inpatient in General Medicine, work within the Acute Medicine Unit in helping to assess newly admitted patient in Medicine, as well as contribute to perioperative and outpatients services. It is expected that the General Physician will assist the Head of Department to successfully guide the expansion of General Medicine services available to patients living on the Peninsula.

There is inpatient haemodialysis and with the recent introduction of Interventional Radiology services and expanded operating theatre access it is expected that the Head of Department will be able to successfully guide the expansion of nephrological services available to renal patients living on the Peninsula.

After hours support and outreach is also offered to local Residential Aged Care Facilities to assist in meeting patient's needs within their place of residence.

The Rosebud Hospital Day Treatment Centre (DTC) comprises Haemodialysis, Chemotherapy and Day Surgery units. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ward Clerk to join our team at Rosebud Hospital. The position will be permanent and job sharing will be considered.
You will provide secretarial and administrative support to the full interdisciplinary team, patients and visitors and facilitate effective communication between the unit and our consumers. In undertaking effective and efficient clerical duties, you will provide a positive profile for Ward Services. You will ensure effective functioning of all administrative aspects of the Ward and through the provision of effective and efficient administrative systems processes and practices, support and will be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager in the day to day functioning of the ward.
The successful applicant will be a proven team player with excellent communication and organisational skills and be willing to work across all clinical areas at Rosebud Hospital. The successful applicant will possess an understanding of medical terminology and have competent computer skills in Windows and Excel programs.
Peninsula Drug and Alcohol (PenDAP) & Youth Program is looking for a creative positive and energetic Youth Alcohol & Drug Outreach Worker. This position provides casework, case management and referral for young people living in the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula areas. It also supports young people living in Supported Accommodation and provides secondary consultation to services working with young people.
